TikTok is the hottest new social media app. You can get creative with dance routines, funny videos and real news. With Tiktok’s popularity, broadcasting stations and journalists have hopped on the bandwagon to deliver factual news in 60 second intervals.

I created my first tiktok related to the 2020 presidential election below:

I was always politically conscious as a child and I thought about the kids today who were like me. Who would they have voted for president if they could? My tiktok is supposed to keep the conversation going about the future we leave for our children. Every election effects them the same as adults. Their education and freedoms depend on voting adults like us and we must do right by them.

Tiktok is new news, but I can see it being a successful news source in five years. The videos are short and straight to the point to keep viewers attention. News has evolved with news watchers.
